New Jersey Criminal Defense Attorney

Casey began her legal career as a law clerk for the Assignment Judge of Passaic County, the Honorable Donald J. Volkert. As a law clerk for the Assignment Judge, she handled a full range of criminal and civil cases. She also mediated landlord-tenant and small claims cases in the Special Civil Part of the Superior Court.

After serving as a law clerk,  Ms. Breslow gained valuable trial experience as an Assistant Prosecutor in Essex County, New Jersey.  She began her career there working in the Juvenile Trial Unit. She quickly made her way up to the Adult Trial Unit where she had numerous cases, which she tried while carrying a heavy caseload.  She dealt with cases pre-indictment, presented them to the grand jury, negotiated plea deals, and conducted trials to verdict.

After prosecuting 1000s of cases Ms. Breslow knows how prosecutors think and how police investigate, putting together a case against you.  Most importantly, she is aware of the errors they usually make.  As your criminal defense attorney, Ms. Breslow will use her expertise and knowledge to your advantage either in negotiating a plea bargain or taking your case to trial before a jury.

Ms. Breslow realizes that anyone can be arrested and accused of a crime and will never judge you for it. She will fight each and every charge, fully aware that the consequences of a case can forever change your life.

Some convictions can result in a criminal record, jail term, loss of employment or even deportation, so it is important to have the right attorney on your side.

Ms. Breslow handles both Municipal and Superior Court matters throughout the State of New Jersey. She deals with juvenile and adult matters.

Casey lives in Hoboken, NJ, with her husband, their two children, and their family's beloved dog. An active skiing and skateboarding enthusiast, Casey loves to ski with her husband and cruise all around Hoboken's unique landscapes on her skateboard.

Her commitment to Hoboken goes beyond just her active lifestyle.

As a Hoboken Municipal Public Defender, Casey is deeply dedicated to pursuing justice and defending her clients' rights. Her strong ties to the community fuel her dedication and allow her to serve with a unique blend of empathy and expertise.
